Just south of Cleveland are hundreds of farms that speckle the Ohio landscape in shades of green and gold. However, just east of the city, we have one farm in particular that stands out as delightfully unique, and it is less than an hour's drive from Cleveland.
Luvin Lavender is beautiful, enchanting, and a delightful escape from reality. Pretty purple plants reach over an acre, enchanting the eye, and you absolutely must pay the farm a visit.
Luvin Lavender is located at 5861 Middle Ridge Road in Madison, Ohio.
This small, quaint farm paints the landscape in picturesque shades of purple, pink, and white with over 3500 plants nestled across an acre and a half.
The property has served as a family farm for over 100 years.
Of course, the farm was not always used to grow lavender. In the past, its soils have produced dahlias, gladiolas, and even strawberries and grapes.
Today, the farm grows lavender both to nurture the bee population and to produce a variety of products.
Herbal deodorants, shampoos, and essential oils are only a few of the many wonderful products produced while Luvin Lavender supports the bee population.
The farm celebrates its deeply rooted heritage by frequently partnering with its community and local artists.
Throughout blooming season, guests are invited to view the farm throughout various events. Educational presentations, essential oil demonstrations, and garden parties are among its most celebrated community events.
