Brandywine Falls is the majestic 60-foot waterfall you'll find in Cuyahoga Valley National Park -- in fact, it's one of the park's top attractions. And you can see it in all its glory from several hiking trails at the park. Personally, we're most fond of the low key Brandywine Gorge Trail, a short and sweet hike with a beautiful payoff.
Brandywine Falls was carved by Brandywine Creek, giving it a unique look.
A layer of hard rock (specifically, Berea Sandstone) caps the waterfall, protecting softer layers of rock below.
The Brandywine Gorge Trail is only about 1.5 miles in length, so it's a great hike for beginners.
It's an easy loop hike as well, so there's no need to worry about getting lost.
The best way to hike this trail is to go counterclockwise. Begin at the parking lot and take the paved trail over the waterfall.
You'll end up right back at the parking lot, with stunning views every step of the way.
As you walk, check out the rocky outcrops along the way.
And enjoy the scenery to the fullest. Fall is an especially amazing time to hike this path.

There's a small, 10-foot waterfall that will let you know you're almost there...
... and before you know it, you'll be standing before Brandywine Falls.
This waterfall is absolutely gorgeous. Make sure to stay awhile and take it all in.
This trail is open all year, although it is best hiked from April - October.
It's very kid-friendly, and you're welcome to bring the family dog as long as you keep them on a leash.
Have you ever hiked this amazing trail? The colors are breathtaking in any season, but they shine their brightest in the autumn.
