1. Chimney Rock
Chimney Rock is a 315 ft. granite monolith and a very popular destination for walking to the top and taking in the beautiful views.
2. A hike worth the view
This amazing view can be captured on the mountains to sea trail between Table Rock Mtn. and Shortoff Mountain.
3. Linville Gorge from Hawksbill Mountain
This view is attainable with a day hike...and totally worth it!
4. Open meadows
A change of scenery can be accomplished by hiking on Flat Laurel Creek / Sam's Knob Trail.
5. Whiteside Mountain
The star trails add a magical effect to this already beautiful mountain.
6. Grandfather Mountain
It wouldn't be an NC mountain list without a mention of Grandfather. The mile high swinging bridge attracts visitors, and the views are unbeatable.
7. Clingman's Dome
