Maybe you want to weave your way through a spooky, haunted maze, or have a fun option for small children. Either way, these twelve mazes give you a bit of everything.
1. Aw Shucks Farms, Monroe
Aw Shucks Farms was featured on Animal Planet, hence the maze pictured above. The maze runs through mid Sept.-Nov. It takes around 25 minutes to complete for both young children and adults. The maze runs Friday 6-10PM Saturday 11AM-11PM and Sunday 1-6PM. Admission is $10/adults (13 and up) $8/kids (4-12).
2. Historic Rural HIll, Amazing Maize Maze, Huntersville
The Rural Hill corn maze can be daunting, but you get an easy eight-step instruction guide along the way. The maze runs Saturdays and Sundays from 10AM-5PM and is $11/adults $7.50/kids 5-12.
3. Grandad's Apples n' Such, Hendersonville
Weave your way through this 5-acre corn maze. It takes about 45-minutes to complete and runs seven days a week from 9AM-5PM and is $5/adults and $3/kids.
4. Hickory Nut Gap Farm, Fairview
The corn maze at Hickory Nut Gap Farm is one of the many fun activities offered here during fall. The maze runs seven days a week from 9AM-6PM and is $7/person. Make sure to grab some farm fresh goodies while you're here!
5. Blue Mountain Farm, Glade Valley
Find you way through this fun corn maze Saturday 10AM-5PM and Sunday 12-5PM. Families can also enjoy hayrides and the pumpkin patch.
6. Get Lost Corn Maze, Albermarle
Staying true to its name, try to not get lost in this 10-acre corn maze. The maze runs Saturdays 11AM-6PM and Sundays 1PM-5PM. $9/ages 4 and up.
7. Hall Family Farm, Charlotte
Weave your way through this 5-acre corn maze right outside of Charlotte. Families should get combo tickets for only $10/person which includes the corn maze and a hayride. The maze runs Friday and Saturday 9AM -10PM and Monday - Sunday 9AM - 6PM.
8. Regal Corn Maze, Statesville
Regal Corn Maze claims "getting lost is half of the fun." But, I think you'll be able to find your way out of this maze. Admission is $9/person and the maze runs Friday 6 - 10PM Saturday 12-10MPM Sunday 12PM-5PM.
9. Kersey Valley Maize Adventure, Archdale
Conquer the 'most famous corn maze' in North Carolina at Kersey Valley. Use your teamwork skills to weave through, and eventually find your way out of this 10-acre maze. The maze runs Saturdays 11AM-6PM and Sunday 1PM-6PM. General admission is $12/person.
10. Hubb's Corn Maze, Clinton
Each year, Hubb's Corn Maze is an impressive design. Just look at aerial shots of the past years on their website. This year, you can experience the fun Fridays from 6-11PM, Saturday 1PM-11PM and Sundays 1PM-6PM. General admissions is $7/person.
11. Naylor Family Farm, Fuquay-Varina
Conquer this giant, 10-acre corn maze right outside of Raleigh! This year's theme is pigs, pigs, and pigs. Hmm...The maze runs Friday 1-6PM, Saturday 9AM-6PM, and Sunday 1-6PM. General admission tickets include everything the farm has to offer and are $18/person. Want to try something extra spooky? Bring your flashlight for 'flashlight night,' Friday and Saturday nights to get lost in the dark. Flashlight nights are by appointment only.
12. McKee's Cornfield Maze, Rougemont
Try and tackle this super giant 12-acre corn maze this October. As an art lover, Vickie McKee designs the corn maze each year. If 12-acres seem too much, try the 2-acre children's maze. The maze runs Friday 3PM-8PM Saturday 10AM-8PM and Sunday 1PM-7PM. Admission is $10/person. For a spooky option, do the Haunted Corn Maze Oct. 23rd, 24th, 30th and 31st. The maze starts at dusk and is $12/person.
