No matter which area of the Empire State you happen to call home, you can find all sorts of wildlife waiting for you right outside of your front door. As much as we love to gaze out our windows at whatever animals happen to be strolling on by, there's another way for you to get up-close and personal with adorable creatures. Giving you the chance to hold an animal you may have never even seen before in real life, check out all that's waiting for you at New York's Wild Animal Park.
One of the best stops to make when you find yourself in the small town of Chittenango, out in Central New York you can discover The Wild Animal Park.
Made up of 12-acres and more than 60 different kinds of animals, The Wild Animal Park is the perfect day trip to take with the entire family.
The Animal Park’s off-season may run between January 29 and April 30 for 2020, but in the meantime you can still come to the park to experience all that’s inside the gift shop and a special encounter that you’ll keep in your memories always.
The Sloth Encounters at The Wild Animal Park will give you the chance to hang out with Two-Toed sloths, where you’ll first get to meet with the sloth keepers beforehand to get a Sloth 101 rundown - informing you all about these incredible creatures.
Afterwards, you’ll be able to grab your cameras and come face-to-face with the sloths, hand feeding them and even holding them. How amazing does that sound? You can't find an experience like this at just any New York zoo!
