1. Kaaterskill Falls Viewing Platform - Greene County

Waiting for you at the top of a 260-foot waterfall is the Kaaterskill Falls Viewing Platform. While many choose to enjoy this natural wonderful from the base of the falls, you can enjoy sweeping views of the Northern Catskills if you hang out up on the overlook. 2. OK Slip Falls Overlook - Indian Lake

One of the tallest waterfalls that you can find in the Adirondacks, OK Slip Falls stands at roughly 200-feet tall. Here you'll find a parking lot that gives you views of the Capital Region and Escarpment, even featuring public binoculars that you can use to get an even more interesting view.

9. Walkway Over The Hudson - Poughkeepsie

Putting you right above the river, the Walkway Over The Hudson is an easily accessible overlook that doesn't disappoint. The walkway itself is just over a mile long and stands at over 200-feet tall, allowing you to have panoramic views of the Hudson Valley and beautiful towns that line the banks of the water.

10. Letchworth State Park - Castile

All throughout Letchworth State Park you'll find a variety of overlooks that will give you unforgettable views of the park. Head to Middle Falls and you'll find one of our favorite overlooks, where you can see the grand waterfall for yourself at a close distance.
