Located roughly an hour outside of Syracuse, Pixley Falls in New York is a gem within our park system.
The quaint state park near Boonville and Hurlbutville is home to just one of many underrated waterfalls in New York. And this one will leave you in absolute awe.
Within the 375-acre state park, you'll find all sorts of enchanting sights...
...like the small cascading waterfalls along the Lansing Kill that flows through the heart of the park!
But the magical destination that awaits you at the end of the park's .7-mile-long trail is the natural wonder of Pixley Falls! It is one of the best waterfall hikes in New York.
Pixley Falls cascades down 50 feet along the kill in the serene forests of Oneida County. And many people have never even heard of it!
One of our favorite parts about this waterfall? At the base of the falls, you'll find a picture-perfect picnic area with tables and amazing views.
One of the best hiking trails with waterfalls in New York, it's a wonderful hike for all skill levels. You'll be amazed by all that you can find inside of this state park.
