Panama Rocks Scenic Park has been amazing and enthralling paid visitors since 1885. The family who owns this property loves welcoming interested parties who wish to check out these beautiful rock formations.
This park is full of towering rocks, deep crevices, passageways, and caves.
A one-mile long scenic trail will take you to 16 points of interest in the park with names like Tower of Babel, Golden Gate, Devil's Den, Fat Man's Misery, and others.
Admission is affordable and once you're in, you can take all the time you want to explore this beautiful space.
Your little ones will love it, too. The forest is beautiful and mossy and seems like something out of a fairytale.
Along your journey, you'll see flowers like this white trillium and others.
You may also get to see some wildlife. This red eft enjoys relaxing under logs and leaf litter.

Panama Rocks Scenic Park is closed in the winter time, but visitors can enjoy it from May to October.
In the autumn, the leaves here really pop and add an additional layer of beauty to it all.
In fact, the park hosts Fall Foliage Festival each year in October that includes music, food, an arts & crafts show, a costume contest, a movie, and more.
The park also hosts the Wild America Nature Festival every July. Plus, no matter when you visit, you can try your hand at axe throwing for an additional fee, and soon the park will offer glamping tent accommodations as well!
