If you find yourself hoping to discover a beautiful hidden beach near Syracuse, NY, you'll want to visit the town of Manlius. Tucked away in this small town, you'll find the state park of your dreams - this place looks straight out of a fairy tale!

The park covers just under 2,000 acres of land. It features serene forests and two stunning glacial lakes in NY that you won't believe are real!

Green Lakes State Park features a large, beautiful beach that is open through the summer, and closes each year in the early fall.

New York is home to dozens of lakes, but the aptly-named Green Lake features beautiful, translucent, green water. In the park, you'll find Green Lake and Round Lake - but the beach is on the shore of the former.

The water here is so shockingly clear because these lakes in NY are some of the only lakes on Earth that don't experience "turnover." The 200-foot depth of the water doesn't stir up from the bottom, which is quite rare!
