1. Ithaca Farmers' Market, Ithaca
Not only just a Finger Lakes favorite but a well-known farmers market throughout our state, this market has been operating since the early 1970's! With over 150 members of this owner-cooperative market, the venue has a lot to offer its visitors.

2. Union Square Greenmarket, New York City
Fruit off the streets of New York City? Any Big Apple market you may be quick to browse over but at Union Square you'll find some of the most fresh produce you've ever seen. Notably one of the best markets in our state, you won't regret checking it out.

3. The Windmill Farm & Craft Market, Penn Yan
Drawing in thousands of New York residents, this farmers market is something every New Yorker must check out! Operating for nearly 30 years, the market has hundreds of vendors and has become quite the attraction in the Finger Lakes region.

4. Troy Waterfront Farmers Market, Troy
This isn't just your basic farmers market, here you'll find produce, household products, delicious baked goods, and more! Right in Downtown with views of the Hudson River, this market has over 80 local vendors.

5. Rochester Public Market, Rochester
This city-run market has been operating since the early 1900's! Over 300 vendors can be found here, with a variety of market items that you'll want to take home with you. This market will definitely take you back in time and you'll enjoy shopping the local produce.

7. Central New York Regional Market, Syracuse
Definitely one of CNY's treasures, the market offers hundreds of vendors. Whether you come to get the usual fruits and vegetables or are looking to take home some of the other tasty treats like meat or bakery sweets, the quality of food here will blow your mind!

8. Greenport Farmers Market, Greenport
What do you do when your local community desires a farmers market but somehow doesn't have one? Establish a market yourself! Created by a group of residents, the farmers market was established back in 2011. While this market isn't one of the biggest on our list and won't be open until June 13th, if you find yourself in the area, it's absolutely worth checking out.

Opening up next month, this fantastic market tucked up in our state has been operating for nearly 40 years. One of the best parts about this farmers market is that is also offers wonderful craft products for you to buy as well!
