Many of our favorite farms are open for visits and host a variety of much-anticipated fall activities. One of our very favorite things to do this time of year is get lost in one of the many New York corn mazes. Ready to jump into fall? These are some of the best corn mazes in New York and you won’t want to miss them!
1. Long Acre Farms - Macedon
The Amazing Maize Maze at Long Acre Farms opened up back in 1998 and is known for being one of the longest running mazes in the world! This is definitely not your average corn maze. It takes visitors an average of 90 minutes to complete the mazes made here. It's one of the most epic New York corn mazes.
One of the reasons why you'll love coming to this particular farm? Not only do they have their Amazing Maize Maze, they also have a smaller Animal Tracks Maze for children and offer Moonlight Maze Nights!

2. Liberty Ridge Farm - Schaghticoke
This is one of the best corn mazes in New York. This beloved upstate spot opens for the year in mid-September. It features an 11-acre corn maze with two different "modes": one easier, one more challenging. This place is a real fall wonderland. They've also got one of the best pumpkin patches in New York. Purchase tickets in advance on the Liberty Ridge Farm website.

3. Fort Ticonderoga - Ticonderoga
This spot is famous as one of the most historic attractions in America. Fort Ticonderoga offers more than just a star-shaped fortress in the fall, though! The maze has twists and turns with puzzles to be solved to lead you in the right direction. They've even got an easier maze for young kids. 4. Queens County Farm Museum - Floral Park
Looking for a maze near me near NYC? This is The Big Apple's only corn maze! It may seem strange to try to imagine a giant corn maze in New York City, but this is one of the best corn mazes in New York. This historic farm has tons of fun fall offerings. With roots going all the way back to the 1600s, the Queens County Farm is an important piece of history. It covers nearly 50 acres of land and remains the city's largest tract of undisturbed farmland. Get more information on the Queens County Farm Museum website.
5. Critz Farms - Cazenovia
This is an amazing farm worth checking out any time of year, but the Critz Farms Fall Harvest Festival is wonderful. They have all kinds of activities, from a pumpkin patch to a petting zoo to hay rides. This year's maze is monster truck-themed! 6. Harbes Family Farm - Mattituck and Jamesport
If you're from Long Island, you already know that the Harbes Family has locations in several areas of New York. At the Harbes Family Farm in Mattituck, you'll find two small corn mazes that are great for families. The Harbes Western Farm in Jamesport features their largest activity, the six-acre corn maze that generally takes visitors about one hour to complete. Each location has fall family fun to enjoy.
