When spring arrives in Louisiana, you'll want to take advantage of the beautiful weather and get outside and explore this beautiful state of ours! There are 21 state parks peppered around Louisiana, and several are located within an hour or two of New Orleans, like Tickfaw State Park. This beautiful park has some of the most beautiful waterside trails around, and you’ll quickly fall in love with this natural oasis. Located in Livingston Parish, Tickfaw State Park is less than 2 hours away from New Orleans and worth every mile.
