The Land of Enchantment is home to countless peaks and valleys with incredible views. Unfortunately, to reach many vantage points you have to take a strenuous hike to get there. This trail, however, is as easy as it gets but still has incredible payoffs. At only half a mile long, you won't be worn out when you reach the top of the world and take in the breathtaking views of the Sandia Mountains. In fact, you may even have energy for some cave exploring.
Sandia Man Cave Trail is an easy hike to amazing views in the Sandia Mountains.
The road to the trailhead is very bumpy, so take it slow.
At just half a mile long, you won't get worn out hiking this trail to the top.
At the end of this trail you'll be perched upon a tall cliff on the side of Las Huertas Canyon. This is the perfect vantage point.
As the name suggests, there's also a stairway to a small cave at the top.
Sandia Man Cave was discovered in 1936 by an anthropology student, and now you can go within the cave while being perched on top of the world.
The top of the staircase makes the perfect lookout into the Sandia Mountains.
This trail might only take 15 minutes, but the end has some incredible payoffs.
This hike is perfect for everyone, and is truly an unforgettable experience.
