Have you ever wondered, "what's the best place to go snow tubing in New Mexico?" We have just the answer: Ruidoso Winter Park, a snow play area in Alto, found 180 miles southeast of Albuquerque.
The park has several different hills that each offer a different tubing experience. Admission will get you a tube and three hours of play time between 9am and 5pm most days. However, you can occasionally find specials for all-day play and night tubing.
There is even a special Kidz Korral, a designated area for younger guests to enjoy tubing while staying safe. Children must be under 42 inches to play in the area with a supervising adult.
When you get hungry or need a hot drink to warm you up, there's no need to leave the park. Vendors are available on site, selling pizza, nachos, hot chocolate, and more.
