On the surface, it can seem like a typical county park. There's an old-school playground to keep the kids occupied...
And plenty of picnic tables. It's a great place for a laid-back day out in the area, even if you're not up for exploring.
But if you are, oh boy - head into the more wooded area and get ready to explore the two main trails here.
The 8.9-mile Penn Hills Trail and the 3.4-mile Estlow Green Trail are both rated moderate, and both are great ways to see the park.
