Everyone loves waterfalls and plunging into a crisp, cool pool on a hot summer day. In New Hampshire, we're lucky because we can combine two great loves: waterfalls and swimming holes. Here are the waterfall waterfalls in NH for swimming that you must visit before the swimming season ends. Which one will you visit first?
1. Pemigewasset River, Woodstock
The Pemigewasset River has some great New Hampshire swimming holes scattered along it, but this one near the falls is particularly great. In Woodstock, the river's current pulls you over the smooth rocks of a natural waterfall water slide. Read more about the Pemigewasset River area.
2. Rocky Gorge, Albany
Rocky Gorge isn't for the timid. The Swift River drops in a beautiful fall, and the base is a deep pool perfect for jumping. This cliff jump is exhilarating but also a bit dangerous, so do not attempt it if you're not a strong swimmer. If you prefer a slower pace, there are much less scary sections of the river just downstream. However, it's one of the most exhilarating swimming holes in the state. Check out more about Rocky Gorge.

3. Lower Falls, Albany
If Rocky Gorge isn't for you, head downstream to Lower Falls, where the current is softer and the falls less drastic, but still beautiful. No wonder this is a popular spot. Find out more about Lower Falls.
