During the summer, blueberry season in New Hampshire is in full swing. As we're sure you know, there are plenty of great farms where you can pick berries. Did you know that you can also head up to Pitcher Mountain in Stoddard NH and gather delicious fruit while you enjoy one of our favorite scenic walks in the state? Since it's an easy, accessible hike, we think it's a fun way to spend time with your family. Of course, the views and berries are pretty awesome too!
The easy hike on Pitcher Mountain in Stoddard NH is just 0.6 miles in each direction. Children of all ages shouldn't have a problem with the gentle slope along this trail.

At the top of the trail, you'll find a fire tower and some epic views. Along with the Green Mountains, you can see the Green Mountains, Mount Monadnock, and sometimes even the White Mountains, depending on weather conditions.
Fortified by berries, you'll find the walk down Pitcher Mountain even easier. What a lovely way to spend part of a summer day - don't you agree?
