Spring in New Hampshire means we've got our sights set on sunny days, warm breezes, and car trips with the windows down. The only other things we need are fresh flowers all over the house. Sure, you can head to the grocery store and grab a bouquet, but why do that when there are so many farms just bursting with flowers all over the state? Sometimes you'll find a you-pick flower farm in New Hampshire that will allow you to cut your own flowers to take home. Head to these farms and you can be assured that you'll be coming home with lots of color from a New Hampshire flower farm.
Remember that many of these farms are not open now, but will be at various times between spring and fall. So, check with them before you make the trip.
This 110-acre farm on Waldron Hill Road is run by Michael Bux whose mom started the business. Another wonderful place to wander around looking for the perfect blooms, this is a great choice if you want to spend some time looking at flowers as well as taking some home.
Huge sunflowers make this a must-see. But we also love the little flowers you can get here as well. Visit Sunnycrest Farm for pick-your-own fruit, too!
There's nothing like a freshly cut bouquet of sunflowers and this might be the best place to get 'em!
For $12 a pound, you can cut your very own snapdragons, coreopsis, cosmos, and zinnias while taking in views of the New Hampshire mountains at Moulton Farm. A few flowers are sold by the stem, but you can cut them all with your very own hands to create your perfect collection.
This is the best place to visit if you want to create a beautiful full, professional-looking bouquet. Fields full of globe amaranth, celosia, salvia, straw flowers, sunflowers, gladiolus, and dahlias will delight you!
The cutting area at Spring Leddge Farm is huge and there's a wonderful selection. Grab your scissors and make the perfect arrangements. For about $12.95, you can bring home two commercially sized arrangements.
This is a great place to go if you want to make your farm visit about more than just flowers. Get some jams, get some veggies, and get access to the registered lilies!
Wide open spaces and beautiful views are what we love most about this beautiful farm. Rosaly Bass is a flower expert - you'd have to be if you've been doing this for over 45 years! Flowers are $12 a pound; hydrangeas and sunflowers will cost you by the stem.
