1. Hi-Cannon Trail, White Mountain National Forest, Lincoln
While this hike is considered to be difficult, it's definitely worth the extra exertion to see the stunning views of Lonesome Lake. To find it, head to Franconia Notch State Park and take the Hi-Cannon and Lonesome Lake trails loop, which is about 5 miles. Things here are steep, but that's the price you pay for a bird's-eye view! 2. Elephant Head Trail, Crawford Notch State Park, Twin Mountain
This out-and-back hike is under a mile and is great for families with kids. Find the trailhead at the edge of Saco Lake. 3. Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail, Mount Washington State Park, Bretton Woods
This is another one that's rated hard, but all that work might have the greatest payoff of any hike! Lakes of The Clouds is one of the most special places in New Hampshire and this hike will lead you straight to an incredible view of it. 4. Bald Mountain Loop, dePierrefeu-Willard Pond Wildlife Sanctuary, Antrim
This one is family-friendly so you won't need to worry too much about who can come along to see this beautiful view. The Tudor and Tamposi Trails will lead you right to the loop and altogether the route will be just over 2.5 miles. Once you're at the top, take in that Echo Lake view! 5. Old Bridle Path, Franconia Notch State Park, Lincoln
At 9 miles and with lots of elevation gain, this is another hard one, but if you're up for it the view will not disappoint! To get this view of Eagle Lake you'll see lots of other beautiful views, too. Expect to start early and finish late. Find more information about this trail on the White Mountain website.
