Located in Lincoln County, Tikaboo Peak is just 26 miles east of the infamous, top-secret Area 51 and is the only legal vantage point to see Area 51. In 1995, the U.S. government closed Freedom Ridge and White Sides because of the volume of people photographing and/or filming the base, leaving Tikaboo Peak the only place for those without an ultra top-secret security clearance to catch a glimpse of the base.
Area 51 is tucked near the Nevada Test Site within the Nellis Air Force Range in Nevada.
Nevada State Route 375, is a 98-mile stretch from State Route 318 at Crystal Springs northwest to U.S. Route 6 at Warm Springs. Considerable alien activity and UFO sightings have been reported along this mostly abandoned highway, thus leading to it being dubbed the "Extraterrestrial Highway" in 1996.

The original Black Mailbox that belonged to rancher Steve Medlin and was thought to be the only mailbox for Area 51. After much vandalism, the black mailbox was replaced with the white one that stands in its spot today as an homage to the original mailbox.
The new white "Black Mailbox." The larger box still bears the name Steve Medlin, while the smaller box below is labeled "Alien." UFO hunters and other alien enthusiasts still gather here today.
