1. Moenkopi Trail
The simple Moenkopi Trail takes you through the stunning Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. At only two miles long and with only a slight elevation gain, this trail is perfect for hikers of all skill levels. It may be easy, but the views are utterly breathtaking. 2. Spooner Lake Trail
The Spooner Lake Trail is 2.4 miles long and located near Glenbrook. This easy hike is a nice change from the desert with plenty of lush foliage surrounding a beautiful lake. 5. Wetlands Park Nature Preserve

There's such an immense amount of natural areas around this region that are perfect for getting out and experiencing the outdoors, and the Wetlands Park Nature Preserve is one of them. The 1.6-mile trail through the preserve is flat and well-maintained. With tons of wildlife and beautiful scenery, the trail is like a little oasis in the middle of the desert. 6. Railroad Tunnel Trail
Located in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, the Railroad Tunnel Trail is one of the most unique hiking experiences in Nevada. Not only is it incredibly scenic, but this trail is rich with history regarding the construction of the Hoover Dam. This well-maintained trail takes you through five humongous ex-train tunnels and boasts awe-inspiring views of Lake Mead. If you're a fan of abandoned places in Nevada, this may be the scenic hike for you!
7. Mustang Ranch Trail
This hidden gem of a trail is located in the McCarran Ranch Preserve in Sparks. All in all, the trail is 20 miles in its entirety and most people just complete small sections of it at a time. The trail runs along the gorgeous Truckee River and feels very remote. You could definitely hike a good chunk of this trail without seeing another soul. This relaxing trail is unforgettable and may be one of the best hikes in Nevada!
