The paved, non-motorized loop trail was constructed through the combined efforts of citizens, landowners, and state agencies. It officially had its grand opening in 2012 and has provided travelers and residents alike with stunning scenic views ever since.
The loop trail surrounds the River Mountains and connects prominent outdoor destinations like Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Hoover Dam, Henderson, and Boulder City. It's a great mode of transportation to these areas but the journey it takes to get there is truly the most important part.
