Believe it or not, Nevada has a pretty great craft beer scene. It seems like a new brewhouse pops up every day in our great state, and we honestly couldn't be happier about it. With spring on its way, it's time to start dreaming up unique ways to explore our state and there's no better way than by taking this brewery trail through Nevada. 1. Revision Brewing Company - Sparks
First stop: Revision Brewing Company! Located in Sparks, this brewery has become famous for their mouthwatering hop-forward beers. They opened recently, in March of 2017, but they've already made quite a name for themselves. Swing by and try out one of their famous IPAs while enjoying their casual atmosphere. They're located at 380 S Rock Blvd, Sparks, NV 89431.
2. Virginia City Brewery & Taphouse - Virginia City
Virginia City Brewery combines modern flair with the old Wild West vibe which the city it resides in is famous for. Virginia City actually has a long history in brewing, so it's the perfect place for any craft beer lover. This particular brewery was opened in 1995 and it's a great place to enjoy fresh, local beer in a historic setting. Find them at 62 N C Street, Virginia City, NV 89440.
3. Shoe Tree Brewing Co. - Carson City
Shoe Tree Brewing Company is the passion project between two brothers who wanted to turn their love for home brewing into a business. Shoe Tree is located at the historic Carson Hot Springs in Carson City and boasts a cozy, rustic vibe that you can't help but love. Try their famous "Wicked Shifty", an IPA which won bronze at The Great American Beer Festival. You'll find them at 1496 Old Hot Springs Rd, Carson City, NV 89701.
4. Tonopah Brewing Company - Tonopah
Next, you'll head south to the little town of Tonopah where you'll find Tonopah Brewing Company. This place is so much more than a brewhouse. It also has strong ties to the community. The owners, Fred and Nancy Cline, have family roots in Tonopah and they view the brewery as an homage to the men and women who came to Tonopah in the early days in search of fortune. 5. Banger Brewing - Las Vegas
Next up, Vegas! Las Vegas is home to plenty of breweries but one of the most exciting is Banger Brewing. This offbeat brewery is famous for their quirky ales which often are created with fruit and pepper infusions. Additionally, the taproom boasts all sorts of glitz and glam, since it is Las Vegas after all. Find them at 450 Fremont St #135, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
6. Boulder Dam Brewing Company - Boulder City
Last stop is Boulder Dam Brewing Company in Boulder City. This little brewpub describes itself as a "museum", comprised of thousands of pounds of actual equipment used in the construction of Hoover Dam. Of course, they offer up a variety of delicious brews, but they are also a hot spot for live music, entertainment, and mouthwatering eats. Check them out at 453 Nevada Hwy, Boulder City, NV 89005.
