Summertime is coming, and with the breath of summer comes the need for some outdoor hangs and good eats. These twelve restaurants tossed about Nashville make way for some of the best patio eating in the city, and we tried them out for your convenience. Or really just because they looked magical and we really wanted to explore...does that work, too?
12. Rumours East Restaurant
You can make reservations ahead of time for Rumours, a beautiful restaurant that's lit by fairy lights and bolsters a wine list that's a mile long. Located in a renovated East Nashville Victorian, your date night just got a lot prettier. (1112 Woodland Street)
11. Fat Bottom Brewing
Nothing like a local brew and some music on the patio. Fat Bottom is fabulous for summer nights, great for a low-key ladies night out or an easygoing date night. There are no expectations here - except maybe to enjoy the beautiful Tennessee weather. (800 44th Ave N)
10. Watermark Restaurant
Watermark is known for their gorgeous outdoor deck. Situated over The Gulch, you can enjoy Italian inspired favorites and fall for Nashville all over again under their twinkle lights. (507 12th Ave S)
9. Bella Napoli Pizzeria
You'll feel like you're in Italy outside of Bella Napoli, one of our favorite places to pop by if we're feeling pizza or Italian comfort food. We can almost hear the music...(1200 Villa Pl #206)
8. The Pharmacy Burger Parlor & Beer Garden
The Pharmacy is known for their burgers, but they're legendary because of their atmosphere. You'll feel as if you've stepped into a movie, surrounded by dear friends eating their hearts out around picnic tables under clusters of twinkle lights. Extra fries for us, please! (731 McFerrin Avenue)
7. The Country
Tucked away by Centennial Park, The Country is a new restaurant that caters to patio lovers and country music fans alike. As you can see, their low-key atmosphere makes for a chill night on the town - and you don't even need to dress up. We'll be sitting outside, thank you. (110 28th Ave N)
6. Bartaco
A 12 South gem, Bartaco makes it easy to enjoy a plate of delicious Mexican food and a sunset all at once. People watch with your chips and guac, toast the night and enjoy the summer on their patio. It's that easy. (2526 12th Ave S)
5. Mas Tacos Por Favor
Mas Tacos is the best place to grab a $3 taco in Nashville, and their neat and quirky outdoor eating area is what summer is made of. This cheap, no-frills spot is prime time when it comes to planning a night out with the gang. Grab some horchata for us! (732 Mcferrin Ave)
4. Slim & Husky's Pizza Beeria
Slim & Husky's is a new Nashville eatery, where you can order your pizza 'slim' or 'husky'. (Can we just go with husky every time...?) The north Nashville space offers up one of the newest patios in the city, hence why we don't have a picture of it quite yet - but we'll go for that killer pie! (911 Buchanan Street)
3. Butchertown Hall
Butchertown Hall is a longstanding favorite in the hearts of Germantown-ites. With a menu that's catered more towards the meat-eating crew, you can dine outside in their beautiful plant-ensconced patio area. It adds another layer of wonderful. (1416 4th Ave N)
2. City Winery
City Winery is great for a live show during the week with a glass of wine. Located in the heart of Music City, you don't get better than this. (609 Lafayette Street)
1. Pinewood Social
Pinewood Social may be known for their bowling alley, but we're bigger fans of its seasonal outdoor patio. They serve drinks from a renovated Airstream and there's a dipping pool when it gets to toasty. Ready for summer yet? (33 Peabody Street)
