As the weather gets warmer, more Montana markets are starting their seasons. Here are 11 great ones to check out this year.
1. Great Falls Original Farmers Market
From June until late September, you can shop this market for produce, crafts, concessions, and even pony rides.
2. Clark Fork Market, Missoula
The Clark Fork Market is the place to be on Saturdays from May through September. Shop there and you’ll be supporting Western Montana’s ranchers, farmers, plant nurseries, and artisans.
3. Red Lodge Farmers Market
Every Friday afternoon, vendors, musicians, and locals get together for this fun, family-friendly shopping experience. Local produce and meat, farm fresh eggs, and specialty food items and occasional live music draw a good crowd.
4. Gallatin Valley Farmers Market, Bozeman
For over 40 years, this market has been a place for the community to come together and support the local economy every Saturday from June-September.
5. Yellowstone Family Farmers Market, Billings
A group of locals founded this farmers market in 1985, and some of their original vendors are still with them. Yellowstone Family Farmers Market runs from July to early October.
6. S.A.T.U.R.D.A.Y Market, Havre
From July-September, the S.A.T.U.R.D.A.Y Market provides a place for local vendors to share their goods with the community.
7. Butte Farmers Market
Butte’s vibrant farmers market returns this Saturday, May 21, and wraps up its season October 1.
8. Whitefish Farmers Market
On Tuesday evenings from May 31-September 27, downtown Whitefish hosts their farmers market with seasonal produce, prepared food, and live music.
9. Hamilton Farmers Market
This is the Hamilton Farmers Market’s 25th year, and you’ll find them in historic Downtown Hamilton from May-October.
