Based in Glacier National Park, this easy trail is about half a mile and is ideal for families of all different hiking levels. Running Eagle Falls is perhaps one of the most unique waterfalls in Montana, as it's actually two falls running into one.
During parts of the year, you may only see the lower portion, which appears to be flowing right of a rock wall. This occurs due to a sinkhole that collapsed under the river and formed a natural bridge above the cascade.
During other parts of the year, the strong flow will also push over the lip of the rocky cliff, creating an additional tier where the waterfall tumbling onto itself!

If you hit the trail during late fall or winter, take a look beyond the waterfall at the picturesque snow-covered mountains. However, due to unpredictable weather conditions, it's best to hit the trail is from April through October.
