Ziplining offers a little bit of everything - from heart-stopping moments as we fly across the sky to beautiful views of the landscape around us. Many of the traditional ziplining courses allow us to swing through the trees, sometimes as we complete a ropes course. However, one zipline in Missouri promises a pretty unique experience, one that will take you right over the Lake Taneycomo.
Soar through the sky, high over Lake Taneycomo, when you go ziplining with Parakeet Pete's Waterfront Zipline in Branson.
Your adventure starts when you purchase a one-time ticket or an all-day pass. For the one-time zip across the lake, you'll pay $24.95. For just $10 more, you can ride the zipline as many times as you want.
Unlike other ziplines, you'll be strapped into a seat for your journey over Lake Taneycomo, which might prove appealing to those afraid of heights.
The waterfront zipline welcomes riders of all ages, although kiddos must be at least 42 inches and must ride with an adult. Those kids 47 inches and taller can ride alone.
Strap into the chair that will take you flying over Lake Taneycomo. Are you daring enough to raise your arms like you're on a roller coaster?
Can you feel your heart pounding as you fly through the sky, heading to your landing spot at Branson Landing?
Chances are after that first ride, you'll want to keep riding all day long.
Soar over Lake Taneycomo at Parakeet Pete's, open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
