You have plenty of ways to explore the serenity of this state park that's home to more than a dozen hiking trails.
For a unique adventure, go horseback riding on one of the picturesque trails. Biking's popular, too.
Arguably the centerpiece of the largest state park in Missouri, Lake of the Ozarks beckons those who enjoy spending time on the water. Go kayaking, canoeing, or boating.
Summertime means whiling away the hours in the lake, staying cool then soaking up the sun on the sandy shore. The park features two sand beaches.
Or you might want to wake up early for a leisurely fishing adventure.
If you visit when it's open, join a guided tour (fees apply) of Ozark Caverns. Don't forget your camera!
With all there is to do at Lake of the Ozarks State Park, you'll quickly find a day isn't enough. How about pitching a tent by the lake for an overnight?
