We all have our own Christmastime traditions that make the season so special. However, we can all likely agree that the season just wouldn't be the same without the twinkling lights that illuminate homes, neighborhoods, and cities all across the state. We also have quite a few drive-thru Christmas light displays to visit. One of our favorites for the entire family is the Grant's Farm Christmas lights celebration. Come along and see why we think its so special:
Grant's Farm in St. Louis draws visitors from all around Missouri and beyond.
The farm is home to more than 900 animal residents and a full menu of family-friendly activities.
When Christmastime rolls around you see an entirely different side of this place!
That's when this sprawling 280-acre farm becomes a winter wonderland with more than one million sparkling lights.
The fun begins as soon as you arrive at the farm.
Guests have their choice of a drive-through or walk-through experience.
If driving, be sure to turn the radio to 88.5 FM.
There you can experience a special music soundtrack that's sure to get you singing along. It also pairs with the dancing lights on a 50-foot tree.
Either way you'll experience everything from gingerbread people to reindeer.
One of the highlights of the display is, arguably, the shimmering Clydesdale horses.
The Budweiser Clydesdales are iconic with St. Louis as well as with Missouri overall.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be waiting along the route, offering waves and Christmas wishes.
There are other optional add-on activities available as well. One is having breakfast with the jolly couple...
...will another is a VIP fire pit experience. This would be fun for the entire family!
Holiday Lights at Grant's Farm runs on select evenings and tickets must be purchased in advance on the Grant's Farm website. You can also learn more in general about the property by going to the Grant's Farm Facebook page.

And if you can't get enough of the holiday cheer, plan a visit to Stone Park Resort in Bonne Terre for its drive-by Christmas light display. (It also boasts more than one million lights!)
