A day at Crowder State Park in Trenton simply might not be enough time to satisfy your wanderlust, especially if you love the outdoors.
Clocking in at 1,912 acres, the beautiful state park's gem just might be the cozy 18-acre Crowder Lake.
While away the hours on the shimmering lake that's popular with boaters. You can even rent a kayak, a canoe, or a standup paddleboard right at the park.
However, you'll definitely want to bring your hiking shoes along, too. After you've explored the water, hit one of the scenic Missouri trails on foot or on horse.
Crowder State Park boasts four hiking trails - two easy and two moderate in difficulty. To really get to know the park, follow the nine-mile Thompson River Trail.
