Once the sweltering temperatures hit Mississippi, a great swimming spot is not a nicety – it’s a necessity! And with summer quickly approaching, finding the perfect place to cool off should be a top priority. Lucky for you, we’ve come across a hidden beach that’s sure to make your summer complete. Take a look:
This is Presley’s Outing in Moss Point. A great place for some fun in the sun (and water), it features a beautiful beach, boat rentals, grills, an on-site restaurant, and more.
Dubbed a "little slice of paradise" it’s centered around Goode’s Mill Lake and has been attracting locals for well over 40 years.
Though it’s technically a campground, Presley’s Outing offers day passes, which will get you access to the grounds, including the beach.
On Mondays through Fridays, a general admission ticket cost $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 5 – 12, and free for children under the age of 5. On Saturdays and Sundays, it’s $6 for adults, $4 for children ages 5 – 12, and $2 for children under the age of 5.
For an additional fee, kayaks, seacycles, and paddle boards can be rented.
A picnic area - complete with grills - is situated near the beach, which means you could easily spend the entire day at this Moss Point gem.
Don't want to be bothered with cooking? No problem; just grab a bite at the on-site eatery, The Boathouse.
And remember, Presley's Outing has over 100 camp sites, so the fun doesn't have to end when the sun goes down.
