A place only the locals known about, the hidden swimming spot is the perfect place for rest, relaxation and privacy.
Located in Franklin County, you’ll find the secluded swimming spot known as Low Water Bridge.
The swimming spot can be found on Low Water Bridge Road in Quentin. The map above shows the exact location as well as nearby parking areas.
Bordering the Homochitto National Forest, Low Water Bridge is perfect when you’re looking to unwind in privacy.
Spanning nearly 200,000 acres, the forest is ideal for wildlife viewing and bird-watching and features several recreation areas.
The bridge spans McGehee Creek.
The creek has a sand-and-rock creek bottom and extremely clear water.
As the name implies, the water is a bit shallow, but it’s still a great place to cool off.
There’s even a beach, perfect for digging your toes in the sand.
