Have you gone stir crazy yet? If so, we’ve got a great solution – Safari Wild Animal Park and Preserve. Despite everything that’s going on, the safari park is still open, and that’s because you can tour the entire park without exiting your car. Instead, you’ll stay in your vehicle and commandeer your own safari adventure. So, are you ready for a wildly good time? Read on for all the details.
Thanks to Safari Wild Animal Park and Preserve in Como, you can experience a bit of Africa in small town Mississippi.
A great way to get out while still adhering to social distancing guidelines, the park offers a self-drive safari tour.
That’s right; you can tour the 466-acre park comfortably (and safely) from your car.
Five miles of designated roadways make it easy to navigate the park and get close-ups of its residents.
Make sure to have a camera handy because the park is filled with hundreds of animals - some of which are rare and endangered.
But you can do more than view the animals as you cruise through the park. The options for “up close and personal” encounters are nearly as plentiful as the park’s wild residents.
You’ll have plenty of chances to interact with the furry creatures you come across while making your way through the park. You can even buy food to feed them.
It typically takes about two hours to drive through the entire park, which is sure to be a nice reprieve from being cooped up inside.
And if two hours isn’t enough, that’s quite alright. You can drive through the park as many times as you’d like.
Pretty affordable, admission to Safari Wild Animal Park and Preserve is $16 for adults and $12 for kids 2 – 12 years old.
