Extending from Waveland to Pascagoula, this area of the state is home to a variety of great restaurants, offering everything from fine dining to more laid-back options. So, the next time you’re on the coast, give one of these amazing restaurants a try.
1. Mary Mahoney’s (116 Rue Magnolia, Biloxi)
Housed in one of the country’s oldest homes, a trip to Mary Mahoney’s is truly a unique experience; one that your taste buds will definitely enjoy. The menu is full of local favorites, like fried green tomatoes topped with crab meat, and a ton of signature seafood creations, such as Sisters of the Sea Au Gratin (pictured).
2. Bozo’s Seafood Market and Deli (2012 Ingalls Ave., Pascagoula)
Ask any local where to get a good po’ boy on the Gulf Coast and they’ll undoubtedly mention Bozo’s Seafood Market and Deli, which probably has something to do with the fact that Bozo’s has been serving the area the freshest seafood, shrimp, and crawfish for over 60 years. Maybe not a traditional restaurant, TatoNut is just too good to not include on this list. The Ocean Springs eatery is famous for its signature donuts, which are made from potato dough. Head to the local favorite, and you’ll find everything from traditional glazed donuts to specialty ones, like the King Cake Donut.
4. Pirate’s Cove (208 Menge Ave., Pass Christian)
Craving a mouthwatering po’ boy in a relaxed atmosphere? Then you can’t go wrong with this local favorite. According to customers, the roast beef po’ boy, which is drenched in mouthwatering gravy, is a must-try and goes perfectly with a bottled Barq’s.
5. The Blind Tiger (119 N Beach Blvd., Bay Saint Louis)
Located in the downtown area of Bay St. Louis, this waterside eatery has it all, from a fun atmosphere to mouthwatering burgers and hand-cut fries.
6. The Chimneys (1640 E Beach Blvd., Gulfport)
Offering beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico, this coastal eatery features an expansive fare of steak and seafood that includes everything from gumbo and crab cakes to seared tuna and calamari.
7. Blow Fly Inn (1201 Washington Ave., Gulfport)

8. Aunt Jenny’s (1217 Washington Ave., Ocean Springs)
Located at the mouth of the Bay of Biloxi, this local favorite is the place to go for all-you-can-eat catfish, shrimp, and chicken.
9. The Reef (1749 Beach Blvd., Biloxi)
Whether you dine on the waterfront deck or in the dining room, this coastal eatery’s laidback beach vibe is undeniable. You’ll be equally as impressed with the menu, which is filled with seafood dishes as well as southern-inspired meals.
10. Trapani’s Eatery (116 N Beach Blvd., Bay St Louis)
For more than two decades, Trapani’s has been serving its "famous po’boys," with the oyster and softshell crab being among the top sellers. Aside from mouthwatering food, the beachfront café features a huge outdoor patio and great views of the bay.
