The leaves are changing in Minnesota and there's a gentle nip in the air, but don't think that winter is here just yet! We're at the start of one of the best times all year, and it's too short to stay at home. It's time for apple picking, pumpkin carving, cider drinking, and getting lost in one of the many corn mazes in Minnesota. While you're at it, you might as well learn a little bit about what makes these farms special. Many of these Minnesota corn mazes offer petting zoos, hay rides, inflatables, and more. But no matter what, these corn mazes are a-maize-ing.
1. Afton Apple Orchard, Hastings
This year's maze honors Reba Mcintyre, the queen of country. With over six miles of twists and turns, you won't be disappointed. Visit it every weekend until October 29th. The orchard will also be open during MEA weekend.
This year's Country Corn Maze has a hockey day theme. Reminisce about your favorite games as you make your way through this enormous maze. Open through October 14.
3. Anderson's Rock Creek Relics, Rush City
Anderson's is known for its annual threshing show, but the corn maze is not to be missed!
This century farm also offers flashlight nights for an after dark experience. The corn maze is open until October 31.
5. Twin Cities Harvest Festival & Maze, Brooklyn Park
This year, Minnesota's largest corn maze celebrates the St. Paul Saints.
6. Be-A-Mazed Corn Maze, Montgomery
This intricate maze at Montgomery Orchard is great for a puzzling break in between apple picking.
7. Valley Corn Maize, East Grand Forks
The Valley Corn Maize is open weekends until October 22.
Stop in to this farm during the pumpkin patch festival or a special weekend, like Scandinavian Days, Grandparent's Weekend, or Military Appreciation Weekend. The maze is open through October 29.
Erickson's Petting Zoo not only offers a corn maze but there are tons of animals to feed, tractors and wagon rides, and a pumpkin patch. All open until October 22nd.
10. A and G Produce, St. Joseph
From October 1 through 29, the A and G corn maze is open, offering a smaller maze for beginners and a larger one for experts, as well as exciting activities like human foosball and a giant jumping pillow.
11. Thea's Pumpkin Patch, Pelican Rapids
Thea's Pumpkin Patch is a long-standing tradition, but this year is the grand opening of Thea's corn maze. This years maze is themed after Jurassic Park.
12. Country Blossom Farm, Alexandria
This classic maze in Alexandria is five acres off fun. When you're done, enjoy the corn pit or giant jumping pillow.
13. Pine Tree Apple Orchard, White Bear Lake
This fantastic maze is open every day from September 22nd through October 23rd and takes about a half an hour to complete.
14. Fresh Acres Farm, Monticello
The Fresh Acre Farms fall festival runs from September 9th through October 29th and offers a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, and many other activities alongside the corn maze.
15. Country Sun Farm, Lake Elmo
With a three acre corn maze that is open daily, hay rides, a petting zoo, and even opportunities for gem mining, Country Sun farm has fall activities on lock.
Open daily through Halloween, Dehns Pumpkin Patch is an absolute blast. Come for the large corn maze but stick around for multiple tall slides, a corn pit, a giant gourd slingshot, and more.
