This rose garden dates back to 1939 with a traditional, European look in mind.

It was built decades ago, but still upholds all of the beauty and more!
One reason for that is the long-term sustainability plan for the rose garden. In 2015-2016 new, disease-resistant varieties of roses were added.
Now, more than 3,000 different species populate one of the best rose gardens in Wisconsin.
From the most popular varieties to lesser-known hybrids, this garden is always bursting with colors!
The use of systemic pesticides ceased in 2021, with the exception of an organic insecticide that only harms rose-eating insects, making it bee- and pollinator-safe.
This nationally recognized garden has been used as a test site for America Rose Selections since 1958.
In addition to the lovely roses, enjoy sculptures, pillars, fountains, and paths.
And pools sitting around are home to many goldfish and koi.
