Sometimes you want to get some fresh air with minimal fuss. This short and sweet hike in Tyringham is the perfect spot to do just that. You’ll stroll through orchards and woodlands to a where a ledge of exposed, ancient bedrock offers panoramic vistas of the peaceful Tyringham Valley. And all under two miles!

Tyringham Cobble Trail is a perfect little loop trail that takes you to a shockingly stunning overlook.
The lovely farm-side trail isn’t difficult and is well-suited to kids and adults alike.
You'll start off by walking along a charming field that often features grazing cows and picturesque hay bales.
You'll then start the easy ascent to the overlook.
Keep an eye out for Hop Brook, where President Grover Cleveland used to love to fish.
As you wind your way to the top, you'll pass through wildflowers, blackberries, blueberries, and wild strawberries growing in meadows and shady woods.
Your (minor) efforts will be rewarded with an absolutely breathtaking view.
Take a few minutes at the top to pause and admire the vista, or spread out on a blanket and enjoy a picture in the fresh air.
The trail is only about a mile each way and should only take you an hour or two to complete, depending on your speed.
Though the trail itself is pretty easygoing, be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring water if it's warm.
This gorgeous hike is open year-round, daily, sunrise to sunset. Make time to explore it this season!
