There are some magnificent things hiding in plain sight that we may not have taken much, if any, notice of. Maybe it's a place you've heard about but not sought out or one you pass by daily that you haven't really stopped and marveled at. At Beaver Brook Reservation, there is one gorgeous waterfall hiding in plain sight in Massachusetts. If you haven't seen it yet, you should make plans to seek it out.
Straddling the Belmont/Waltham line is Beaver Brook Reservation, a 59-acre park featuring fields, woodlands, nature trails, athletic fields, a spray deck, wading pools, picnic areas, and more.
Plenty of recreational opportunities can be found here like hiking, biking, mountain biking, fishing, and a variety of sports.
But hiding out in plain sight at this park is Beaver Brook Falls. This cascading waterfall happens to be one of the most scenic parts of the park.
Located in the northern part of the park, where you will also find ponds, Beaver Brook Falls is just a quick walk from the parking lot.
You can observe this cascade either from below or from the observation deck on top.
While you're here, don't forget to explore the rest of the picturesque Beaver Brook Reservation. Take in the gorgeous scenery and nature as you breathe in the fresh air.
Beaver Brook Reservation is open from dawn until dusk daily with free parking available at both the north and south sections of the park.
