Arched Bridge Conservation Area is a beautiful natural space in Dunstable. It features a short and sweet trail that’s perfect for strolling and plenty of places to relax.
The park’s centerpiece is the lovely Arched Bridge which crosses over Salmon Brook. The stone construction and weathered look make it seem like something from a storybook.
The path through the conservation area is about 1.8 miles, out and back. It passes through forested areas and meadows, winding its way through towering pine trees.
The grade of the trail is mostly gentle, though there are some areas in which people using strollers or mobility equipment may need assistance. The first 0.25 miles to Arched Bridge should be accessible for most wheelchair users.
Casual hikers will be more than capable of handling the path in a pair of waterproof shoes, as the trail can sometimes get muddy after rain or wet weather.
