Animal lovers will want to listen up: there's an amazing exotic animal sanctuary in Massachusetts, and it's filled with some of the coolest and cutest critters you'll ever meet. Located in Bolton, Animal Adventures is the place to go if you want to interact with and admire exotic creatures from around the world.
Animal Adventures is New England’s largest privately owned animal rescue center of its kind!
That means that the animals here are being cared for and rehabilitated.
The best part is that unlike a zoo, this animal sanctuary lets you interact with and touch the amazing creatures who live here.
That's right! There's no need to travel across the globe. You can get up close and personal with exotic animals in Massachusetts.
During your visit, you’ll meet creatures such as the arctic fox, anaconda, North American porcupine, Ring-tailed lemur, red kangaroo, vervet monkey, African serval, boa constrictors, Carpathian lynx and many more!
General admission includes access to any of the three daily animal shows, where you can learn about and meet the animal stars of the sanctuary.
In between the shows, you can interact with the animals in their homes and learn all about them from the animal handlers.
Wandering around this place is pretty much an animal lover’s dream.
You can also sign up for a private adventure tour for your family or group! Interact with the animals on a 1.5-hour tour and spend an extra half hour with your favorite creatures at the end.
There’s also a playground and a Dino Pit where young visitors can dig for ancient artifacts.
Bring the kiddos along for some fun. This is one of the best family-friendly attractions in Massachusetts.
They also offer special classes like a Babies & Toddlers Animal Class and an Owl Class for those who have always wanted to hold an owl.
If you want an animal experience like no other, check out Animal Adventures soon!
Admission is $14 for visitors 4+. Ages 2-3 can visit for $7, and under 2s are free. Check out their website here for hours of operation and special events.
