Warm summer nights are finally here and there's no better time to kick back, relax, and look up at the starry sky. If you're fascinated by celestial events, then mark your calendar for the following meteor shower happening from mid-July to mid-August.
The Perseid Meteor Shower is an annual phenomenon that happens every summer, but this year promises to be among the most visual.
July 17th to August 24th is its usual time frame, with the peak being on the nights of August 11-12 and August 12-13.

On those two nights, the moon will be a thin crescent, keeping the sky dark and the meteors bright.
Fingers crossed that no clouds decide to dim the view. As long as the skies remain clear, we're in for a spectacular show!
Save the date and plan to be somewhere with little light pollution. Perhaps a perfect night for camping?
