1. Sandy Point State Park (Annapolis)
Sandy Point State Park just may have the most well-known bay beach. You've likely spotted it while crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and it's almost always filled with beach-goers. There's plenty of room to spread out and enjoy a dip in the bay.
2. Terrapin Nature Park (Stevensville)
Terrapin Nature Park is another beach with a Chesapeake Bay Bridge view. You can enjoy the beach, but also don't miss out on the area trails as well. There's a lot to explore here.
3. Point Lookout State Park (Scotland)
Point Lookout State Park is a Southern Maryland gem that's full of history and scenery. You can camp out here as well, waking up to beautiful bay views like this.
4. Matoaka Beach (St Leonard)
Matoaka Beach is the definition of a hidden gem. After driving through a woodland road and past cabins, you'll find the beach down the hill. Be on the lookout for fossils and shark teeth while you're here, too.
5. Hart-Miller Island (Middle River)
This bay island is only reachable by boat and you'll be glad you made the adventure out here. Enjoy a day of seclusion on the sandy beach and be sure to check out the nature trails, too.
