Pondicherry Park is a whopping 66 acres located right in the center of Bridgton.
The trails at Pondicherry Park offer six different hiking trails creating a network of 2.3 miles to explore. And there's a lot to see here.
The park is full of wetlands and waterways, including Stevens and Willet Brooks.
The hiking trails at Pondicherry Park are all different, short, and fairly easy.
None are longer than a half-mile, making them great for families with children, and each one is more lovely than the next.
Make your way down the path with woodchips to discover the lush greenery waiting just inside.
This is definitely one of the most beautiful forested areas in the state.
And while we love the individual paths, we think you'll really enjoy seeing the covered bridges.
There are two covered bridges here and one is 60 feet.
But that's not all that's special about it.
In addition to being well-made and cared for, we love the fun spiral stairs attached. While looking for the best trails at Pondicherry Park, it is tough to say which hike is our favorite. We love this park so much and have visited it during every season and each one has something special to offer. There are obstacle courses for the kids, history, ruins of old buildings, and so much more. I would say spend a day and just explore the trails; you can't go wrong with any of them.
The scenic views from it are enchanting.
