Cadillac North Ridge Trail in Maine, for example, offers a challenge, but the rewards - the sensational views - will likely leave you breathless.
Cadillac North Ridge Trail, which stretches four miles through Acadia National Park, boasts some of the most beautiful views in Maine.
However, the hike is rated hard, so you'll definitely want to make sure you're up for the challenge. In addition to steep climbs, the trail can get quite rocky.
