Go Ape is a journey through the forest canopy that includes exhilarating obstacle courses, zip lines, and rope swings. It is an amazing adventure for kids or adults of any age and offers an opportunity to explore the forest in a way you never thought was possible. There's a child-friendly course for those under 10 years old, and a regular course for those ages 10 and up with parental consent.

You'll start off at the check-in office.

Here you will sign safety waivers and learn all you need to know before starting your treetop adventure. There's a 30-minute safety briefing so that you're fully prepared for the obstacles ahead.

Then the journey begins!

Once you have your tickets, sign the papers, and get harnessed in by Go Ape employees, you're ready to begin your adventure through the beautiful canopy of Jefferson Memorial Forest! The obstacles range in difficulty and many of them are surprisingly challenging. Remember to go at your own pace and enjoy the beautiful view around you.

You'll be up in the air a while, so take your time.

The adult course takes an estimated 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. It's definitely a day-long adventure and well worth the entrance fee, which is $38 for kids ages 10-15, and $58 for ages 16 and up.

There's a total of five exciting climbs.

Each climb challenges you in unique ways. If you're not used to this type of physical activity, that's fine! There are places to rest after each course so that you don't overexert yourself.
