Many consider this the best water playground in the entire state.
There are some unique landforms here, including moving water rapids through the summer--rare in Louisiana.
There is also some lovely sand areas for those that prefer to lounge in the sun.
The beach here is truly a hidden gem.
There are sandstone rocks here that create the rapids and small falls here.
Over the years, people have moved stones to create a "jacuzzi" area to lounge in.
There's also some rope swings a little up the way where it is deep enough to jump in!
This is technically allowed, but I won't tell anyone if you don't.
