1. Crescent Park

3. West End Park

4. City Park
Ok so maybe City Park isn't hidden, but when you're talking about Parks in New Orleans, you have to include City Park. This 1,3000-acre park has tons of activities to occupy an afternoon. Take a stroll through the botanical gardens, admire the art in the sculpture garden, or take the kids to Storyland and the Carousel Gardens Amusement Park. 5. Audubon Park
Again, Audubon's not exactly hidden but it didn't feel right to leave it out. Located in historic Uptown New Orleans, Audubon Park is a favorite spot for outdoor recreation for locals and tourists alike. Visitors can take advantage of the 1.8 mile jogging path, playgrounds, tennis courts, and the lovely lagoon. The park also features a cafe, soccer fields and a golf course. 6. LaSalle Park
This lovely urban park features soccer fields, a jogging path, a nature boardwalk and much more. This outdoor oasis in Metairie is a great place to take a casual stroll among the trees. Located at 6600 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70003.
7. The Point/Breakwater Park
Head over to Breakwater Park for amazing views of the lake. This is one of the most perfect places in the area to watch the sunset over the lake with the sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks. Located at 7637 Breakwater Park, New Orleans, LA 70124.
