Have you ever experienced the haunted hike in Leesville, LA, known as the Tree Farm Massacre?
During the Halloween season, this unique haunted attraction can be found at 458 Tree Farm Rd. in Leesville, LA.
A spooky legend swirls around this area—beginning with the trees that grow here.
Apparently, the area was being used to research developing genetically redesigned trees that were capable of gobbling up more CO2 than the average tree.
This was seen as a major innovation, since reduction in CO2 is much needed. But the scientists soon discovered something else...
The trees were not only using up more CO2, but they were emitting more than simply oxygen. For some reason, the modified trees emitted gases that made researchers in the area aggressive and paranoid.
Basically, the gases emitted by these trees made the researchers homicidal zombies.
It's still up for debate whether any of these trees remain, making the entire journey through this area incredibly spooky.
So if you are feeling brave, consider a visit to this haunted place.
On special nights during the Halloween season, there are 'blackouts', meaning the hike is done almost completely in the dark.
Some have even reported seeing former doctors, researchers, and lab technicians in the area.
It really gives me the chills just thinking about it!
