This secluded little preserve boasts over 400 acres of beautiful scenery, with over 8 miles of trails to explore.
The Eagle Trail is a lovely little loop trail that the whole family can enjoy.
You’ll feel like you’re a million miles away from it all as you wander through the hardwood forest.
Along the way you’ll be met with some of the most stunning scenery in St. Tammany Parish.
There’s nothing like a cypress swamp view, and this trail doesn’t disappoint.
The boardwalk trail allows you to access parts of the swamps you wouldn’t be able to see otherwise. A beautiful glimpse into Louisiana’s fascinating ecosystems.

The trail is beautiful year-round, but depending on what time of year you visit, you may even have a splash of color to your walk.
The Northlake Nature Center is open daily from 8 a.m. till 8 p.m.
