But for those that like to explore on foot, there are nearly ten miles of walking trails peppered throughout the refuge.
The whole family will love this scenic adventure.
Be sure to keep an eye out for wildlife along the way! You never know what you’ll find. Otters, deer, gators, and migratory birds are just a few of the swamp critters you may spot along your walk.
The Boy Scout Road Trail has some of the best views of the refuge.
There’s even a boardwalk you can stroll down to get a better view.
